How many bedrooms does the house have?

The house has 5 bedrooms. The master bedroom with a king bed and an additional room with a queen bed are located on the main floor. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms with multiple beds in each room. These rooms are set for children use although adults could use them too. There is another bedroom located on the bottom floor. Finally, there is a fold out queen couch located in the down stairs den.

Do you allow pets?

We have a strict no pet policy.
 

How long does it take to drive to the beach?

Generally it is 15 minute drive to the beach. Parking is free and there are multiple lots on the island with the largest located at the south end. Street parking is very limited and the entire car must be off of the road or you will be ticketed. Are there other ways to access the beach?

Yes, you can walk at low tide through the creek and up Pritchard Street. However, you will need closed toed shoes as there are oysters beds in the creek which can make a mess out of toes. In addition, you can use the kayaks and canoes that are provided with the house during high tides (life jackets in varying sizes are provided). The key to navigating the creek is knowing the tides. We use an app named Tide Alert to plan our treks across the creek. Once you download the app, click on the search option at the bottom of the screen zoom in on the map and look for Ward’s Dock which is the closest tide gauge to the house.
 

Are linens provided?

The house is fully stocked with bath towels, dish towels, and linens for use in the house. We do not provide beach towels which you will need to bring. You will also find the kitchen is fully stocked with any dish ware, utensils, pots/pans that you will need.
 

Are beach chairs provided?

Like the beach towels, you will need to bring your own beach chairs as we do not provide them.

Does the house have a grill?

Yes, we have a gas grill for your use.
